Dignity Nursing Journal (DNJ)
Double-Blind Review
Dignity Nursing Journal (DNJ) applies a double-blind peer review, ensuring both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers before a final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
Note: Editorials and letters are not peer-reviewed but assessed directly by the editorial team.
Submission Requirements:
- Title Page: Author details, affiliations, funding, and conflicts.
- Blinded Manuscript: No identifying information in the main text.
- All supplementary files are also reviewed.
Review Decisions
Reviewers assess scientific quality, originality, and relevance. Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewer recommendations.
Accept: Ready for publication.
Minor Revision: Small corrections required.
Major Revision: Needs substantial improvement.
Reject: Not suitable for publication.
Generative AI Policy: Reviewers must not upload manuscripts to AI tools, as it violates confidentiality and ethical standards.
Ethical Guidelines for Reviewers
Reviewers must:
- Review within their expertise.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Declare conflicts of interest.
- Provide objective and respectful feedback.
- Complete reviews on time.
Reviewer Recognition
Reviewers receive recognition through certification platforms such as Reviewer Credits for their contribution to the peer-review process.
