1. PURPOSE AND ETHICAL ALIGNMENT

Dignity Nursing Journal (DNJ) permits limited and carefully evaluated advertising to support scholarly communication while safeguarding editorial independence and research integrity. All practices align with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices.

Advertising must not influence editorial decisions, peer review processes, or publication outcomes under any circumstances.

2. EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE

All editorial decisions are made independently of advertising arrangements. DNJ does not endorse any product, service, conference, or institution featured in advertisements.

PERMITTED: SCHOLARLY EVENTS
  • Academic conferences and symposia
  • Scholarly publishing opportunities
  • Events organized by reputable institutions
  • Subject to strict evaluation and verification
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
  • Tobacco, alcohol, or harmful products
  • Misleading, unverifiable, or exaggerated claims
  • Political, discriminatory, or personal content
  • Predatory journals or conferences

3. VETTING CRITERIA

Institutional Credibility: Must be organized by a recognized academic institution, professional association, or research body.
Transparency: Organizers must clearly disclose committees, affiliations, and sponsorship.
Ethical Compliance: Must adhere to international publication ethics, including COPE principles.

4. PLACEMENT & CONTENT DISTINCTION

  • Clear Separation: Advertising content must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
  • No Advertorials: DNJ does not publish disguised advertisements.
  • No Content Targeting: Ads are not linked to specific research topics or articles.
  • Conflict Disclosure: Advertisers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Right of Refusal: DNJ reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisement that conflicts with its ethical standards. Concerns regarding advertisements should be formally submitted to the editorial office.
