Data Sharing Policy (Availability Statement)

Research Data Sharing & Availability

Supporting Transparency and Reproducibility | Updated 1 January 2026

When submitting research to Dignity Nursing Journal (DNJ), authors are encouraged to share research data in line with open science principles. Data sharing enhances transparency, reproducibility, and scholarly impact.

DNJ supports the FAIR Data Principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and expects authors to ensure that datasets are properly documented and accessible whenever possible.

Core Requirements:
  • Deposit: Deposit data in a trusted repository or upload as supplementary material.
  • Citation: Datasets must be properly cited and linked within the manuscript.
  • Data Availability Statement: Authors must include a clear statement describing data accessibility.
  • Ethical Considerations: Sensitive or confidential data must comply with privacy, consent, and ethical regulations.
